How to Apply for Provo, Utah Water Rebates

Apply on utahwatersavers.com and pass the pre-project inspection before removing any grass. Lawn conversion pays $1.50 to $3.00 per sq ft depending on your city. Drip conversion pays about $0.50 to $1.00 per sq ft.

Application Steps

  1. 1

    Confirm your city and rate

Check that your city participates in the CUWCD Landscape Incentive Program and note its per-square-foot rate, which ranges from $1.50 to $3.00.

    Open the CUWCD rebate page
  2. 2

    Apply on utahwatersavers.com

Register, add your property, and submit your application with before photos and a landscape plan that is unique to your property. A professional design is not required.

Open the Utah Water Savers portal
  3. 3

    Pass the pre-project inspection

A conservation technician inspects your living lawn before you remove anything. Do not start work until that inspection is complete.

  4. 4

    Install and get paid

Complete the water-efficient conversion within your project window, request the final site visit with after photos, and submit a W-9 to receive payment.

CUWCD inspects before you dig, so apply and wait for the pre-project visit first. Confirming your city rate up front avoids a surprise on the payout.
