Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pollinator Patch mobile application or visiting our website at thepollinatorpatchgarden.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

What Pollinator Patch Is

Pollinator Patch is a native plant planning tool. It helps homeowners browse native plants, filter by yard conditions, and generate planning guides for native landscaping projects. The app is intended for informational and planning purposes only.

Pollinator Patch is not a licensed landscaping service, not a legal service, and not a guarantee of HOA approval. Plans and recommendations are starting points, not professional advice.

No Guarantee of HOA Approval

Plans generated by Pollinator Patch are designed around common HOA expectations, including defined borders, controlled heights, and tidy presentation. However, every HOA has different rules. Pollinator Patch does not guarantee that any HOA will approve your landscaping plans. Always review your CC&Rs and follow your HOA's specific submission process before starting any landscaping project.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Pollinator Patch offers free and paid (Pro) tiers. Pro features are unlocked through a subscription purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until the period ends.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective store policies.
  • To cancel, manage your subscription through your device's app store account settings.

Plant Toxicity Information

Pollinator Patch includes pet toxicity filters based on publicly available data. This information is provided as a general guide only. If you believe your pet has ingested a toxic plant, contact your veterinarian or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435 immediately. Do not rely solely on the app for pet safety decisions.

Rebate Information

Rebate programs listed in Pollinator Patch are compiled from publicly available sources and verified periodically. Program availability, rebate amounts, application windows, and eligibility requirements can change without notice. Always confirm details directly with the program provider before starting any landscaping work or submitting an application. Pollinator Patch is not responsible for changes to or discontinuation of any rebate program.

Intellectual Property

All content in Pollinator Patch, including plant data, images, guides, and app design, is owned by Pollinator Patch or its data providers. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, or sell any content from the app without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Pollinator Patch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the app, reliance on plant recommendations, HOA decisions related to your landscaping, or pet health outcomes. Use the app as one input among many, not as your only source of guidance.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.
