Apply to Desert Water Agency while the grass is still in place. A pre-inspection is required before any work.

Pass the pre-inspection, then convert
Schedule and pass the pre-inspection, then remove the grass and install desert-adapted landscaping.

Submit and get paid
Submit for your rebate. $2 per square foot, or $3 per square foot for City of Palm Springs customers.
The pre-inspection comes first, so apply while the grass is still there. Palm Springs customers get the higher $3 rate.
