Apply to Desert Water Agency while the grass is still in place. A pre-inspection is required before any work.
Open the DWA grass removal rebate (opens in new tab)

Pass the pre-inspection, then convert
Schedule and pass the pre-inspection, then remove the grass and install desert-adapted landscaping.

Submit and get paid
Submit for your rebate. $2 per square foot.

The pre-inspection comes first, so apply while the grass is still there. The rebate is $2 per square foot.
