District staff design and size the rain garden or other conservation practice for your site so it meets program specifications.

Install and verify
Install the approved practice to the district design. Staff verify the completed installation.

Submit for reimbursement
Send your itemized receipts to Durham SWCD. A payment request goes to the state, and you receive up to 75% of the average installation cost.
