How to Apply for Kitsap County, Washington Water Rebates

Contact the Kitsap Conservation District before you start so they can scope the project. Up to $1,500 cost share for rain gardens and native plantings. Property must be in unincorporated Kitsap County.

Application Steps

  1. 1

    Confirm eligibility

Make sure your property is in unincorporated Kitsap County. Small commercial properties qualify too.

Open the Clean Water Kitsap rain garden page
  2. 2

    Contact the Conservation District

Email the Kitsap Conservation District at kcd@kitsapcd.org to apply and get technical assistance scoping your project before you build.

  3. 3

    Install the approved project

Build the rain garden or green stormwater solution with native plants. Take photos and keep itemized receipts.

  4. 4

    Submit for the cost share

Submit your documentation to receive the cost-share rebate of up to $1,500.

Technical assistance and scoping come before construction. Confirming unincorporated-county eligibility and planting natives are what most people miss.
