How to Apply for Stuart, Florida Water Rebates
$1 per square foot to remove irrigated turf, from 1,000 up to 1,500 sq ft, for a maximum of $1,500. You must be a City of Stuart water customer, get approval first, and finish within 60 days. Concrete and artificial turf do not qualify.

Confirm eligibility
Make sure you are a City of Stuart property owner serviced by city water and your turf area runs from 1,000 to 1,500 square feet. New construction is not eligible. Call 772-600-1206 or email aellig@ci.stuart.fl.us with questions.

Apply and get approved
Submit the application and get approval before removing any turf. Plan a replacement that uses permeable material or drought-tolerant plants, not concrete or artificial turf.

Complete, inspect, and get paid
Finish the work within 60 days of approval and pass the final inspection. The rebate is mailed about four weeks after inspection at $1 per square foot up to 1,500 sq ft.
