NICE stands for Natives Improve and Conserve Environments. It's a program run by the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT). Nurseries that join go through a process to show they're committed to selling true natives, labeling them correctly, and following sustainable practices.
When you see the NICE badge on a nursery, it means NPSOT has vetted them as a Native Plant Partner. There are 73 of these partners across Texas, from the Panhandle to the Valley.
