How to apply

  1. Confirm your property is in Alachua County and has an existing in-ground irrigation system
  2. Call Water Resources at 352-264-6800 to ask questions and set up an optional site visit
  3. Hire a Florida Water Star accredited SWAP Shop professional to remove irrigation and install Florida-Friendly Landscaping
  4. Submit the completed application, a W9, and an itemized invoice to the Environmental Protection Department
  5. Receive the 50% rebate up to $2,000 after review
