How to Get the BLUE Williston Residential Stormwater Rebate

What you get

Reimburses Williston homeowners for installing approved stormwater practices, with a $1,200 maximum per site. A rain garden or bioretention basin is eligible for up to $1,200 and high density plantings for $150 to $600. Participants must first complete a free BLUE Williston site evaluation, then design the practice to the BLUE Basis of Design or BLUE Small-Scale Green Stormwater Infrastructure Practices standards; the design must be documented and approved by BLUE/Lake Champlain Sea Grant staff before installation. Funding is limited and rebates are issued at the discretion of the Williston Stormwater Program (Town of Williston, BLUE Williston page, "$1,200 maximum per site", last verified September 2026; the program administrator at blue@uvm.edu restated "up to $1,200" by email 2026-08-13). The Lake Champlain Sea Grant page for the same program still reads "$250 to $1,000" and has not been updated.
