How to Get the Del-Aware Backyard Rebates

What you get

A pilot program (in partnership with the City of Sunbury and the Village of Shawnee Hills) providing a $50 voucher, redeemable at a participating vendor, toward the cost of native plants or a rain barrel. One voucher per household per year, program active May 1 through October 31, 2026. The native-plant redemption option is in scope; the rain-barrel option is not a landscaping conversion (Delaware Soil & Water Conservation District; last verified July 2026).

• Submit contact info and wait roughly two weeks for manual verification before receiving the voucher
• Redeem the voucher at a participating vendor for native plants or a rain barrel
• One voucher per household per year
