How to Get the BMP Cost-Sharing Program

What you get

City of Gardner partners with the Johnson County Stormwater Management Program to fund a residential best-management-practice cost-share: a 50% match up to $1,000 for rain gardens, native planting swales and buffers, cisterns, or permeable pavement, plus a 50% match up to $75 per native tree and up to $75 per rain barrel, each capped at two per household.    Apply and get written approval first

   Submit your application to City of Gardner and wait for written approval before you remove any turf or start work. Starting early is the most common reason a rebate is denied.
