Yard Ethic's Pollinator Garden Grant Program, administered by the James River Basin Partnership, is open to individual homeowners (as well as neighborhoods, community gardens, schools, cities, and parks) in the Springfield/Greene County area who want to plant and maintain native plants. Approved applicants receive native plants and mulch valued up to $500 per garden, purchased directly by the Missouri Department of Conservation rather than reimbursed as cash. Do not remove turf or begin work before you have written approval. This program requires pre-approval. Starting early can disqualify the project even if everything else is correct.
