Make sure you are a City of Bend water customer with a dedicated in-ground irrigation system and backflow. Apply through the Water Services rebate page before doing any work.

Complete the project consultation
A City representative reviews your project on site. You receive a reservation number that holds your rebate funds. Do not remove any turf until you have it.

Convert the full irrigation zone
Replace the entire zone with low-water landscaping. Equipment in the zone must match, so do not mix drip and spray. Keep itemized receipts and take after photos.

Submit and get paid
Finish within 90 days of approval, by October 15, then submit your documentation for $3 per square foot, up to $3,000.
