Apply online through Gilbert Water Conservation and submit photos of your existing grass. Do not remove any grass until you have written approval.

Design the desert landscape
Plan a low-water-use desert landscape to replace the grass. Up to 1,500 square feet counts toward the residential rebate at $1.50 per square foot.

Install and document
After approval, remove the grass, install the new landscaping, take after photos, and keep itemized receipts.

Submit and get paid
Send your after photos and receipts to Gilbert to receive up to $2,000 plus the $1,000 incentive (or up to $30,000 for non-residential properties).
