Schedule the site visit
Contact JSWCD to schedule the required site visit. The visit determines whether your project is eligible before you do anything else.

Get your application approved
After the site visit, complete the application packet and get it approved. Do not start construction until you have approval.

Build with recommended natives
Install the rain garden, bioswale, or rainwater harvest system. Use the recommended native plant lists in the packet and source locally through OregonFlora. Keep itemized receipts.

Submit for reimbursement
Submit completion documentation by a quarterly deadline (January 15, April 15, July 15, or October 15) to be reimbursed up to $5,000.
This is a reimbursement program, so plan to front the cost. The site visit and approval have to happen before you build, and the deadlines are quarterly.
