How to Apply for Round Rock, Texas Water Rebates
Round Rock's parkway strip rebate requires existing grass and an irrigation system in the strip. Rainwater rebate: $0.50/gal, up to $600/yr. LCRA rebates are no longer available to Round Rock residents.
Application Steps

Confirm you're a Round Rock water customer
Direct city customers only. MUD customers are not eligible for rainwater rebate.

Get pre-approval for turf removal
Contact the city before starting parkway strip conversion.

For rainwater: submit within 60 days
Apply with itemized receipt within 60 days of installation.

LCRA rebates are no longer available to any City of Round Rock resident (LCRA rule since July 2025). Apply through the city programs above.
