How to Apply for Riverside, California Water Rebates
Reserve through SoCal Water$mart before removing any turf. Western adds $3 per sq ft on top of the MWD base for the first 1,000 sq ft. Synthetic turf is not eligible under the regional program.

Reserve through SoCal Water$mart first
Make your reservation through SoCal Water$mart and enter your Western Water account information so the combined Western plus MWD amount displays automatically. Do not remove any turf until your reservation is confirmed. Funding is limited.

Plan to the regional rules
Design a conversion with living low-water, climate-appropriate plants. The Western supplement of $3 per square foot applies to the first 1,000 square feet, on top of the MWD base. No synthetic turf in the rebated area.

Install and document
Remove the turf, install the plants, and take after photos. Keep itemized receipts.

Submit and get paid
Submit your after photos and documentation through SoCal Water$mart to receive the combined rebate.
