You need to be a Westminster Utilities water customer. Apply through Resource Central, which administers the lawn replacement and Garden In A Box programs for the city.

Submit your photo and plan
Include a photo of the turf area you will transform and a plan for the new water-wise landscape. You must remove at least 200 square feet of water-intensive turf. Artificial turf is not allowed.

Use the credit
Apply the $750 credit toward professional lawn removal and haul-away or up to four Garden In A Box kits. Order early, since the credit is first come, first served.

Install the water-wise landscape
Replace the removed turf with water-wise plants and mulch. Keep your plant list and project records.
