Arizona Water Rebates
Buckeye, Arizona Water Rebates
City of Buckeye Water Resources runs a Turf Removal Rebate that pays 50% of your total turf-removal cost or $1.75 per square foot, whichever is lower. You replace natural grass with low-water landscaping, with a minimum of 500 square feet converted. Program funding is capped at $10,000 per fiscal year across all customers, first-come, first-served. Apply and get approval before you start so you do not remove grass on a closed program.

Avoid these mistakes
- Don't remove turf before you apply and get approval. Pre-approval is required and starting early can disqualify the project.
- Don't wait, program funds are capped at $10,000 per fiscal year and run out first-come, first-served.
- Don't convert less than 500 square feet. That is the minimum eligible area.
