- Plants must be appropriate for the site
- Receipts submitted with a final report; funds may only cover eligible expenses incurred after the award date
Before you start
Do not remove turf or begin work before you have written approval. This program requires pre-approval. Starting early can disqualify the project even if everything else is correct.

How to apply for the Native Plant Grant

Submit the application

The district reviews applications after the deadline and notifies grantees of the outcome. If awarded, funds are issued shortly after notification. Check the program page for the current cycle's notif

Plant your project and submit receipts
Complete your planting project, keeping all receipts for eligible expenses incurred after your award date. Submit receipts with a final report to Polk SWCD.
