How to Get the Native Plant Rebate Program

What you get
The City of Sunset Valley reimburses residents for native and adapted plants: perennials from $1 (4 inch) to $10 (10 gallon), native trees from $25 (15-20 gallon) to $200 (up to 48 inch boxed), and native seed at $10 per pound. The annual rebate is capped at $500 per property. Plants are chosen from the Grow Green Native and Adapted Landscape Plants Guide, and you submit the application within 30 days of purchase and installation with itemized receipts and after photos (City of Sunset Valley Native Plant Rebate Program, last verified June 2026).
