Reserve through SNWA first
The Water Smart Landscapes application runs through SNWA. Apply and reserve your project at snwa.com before you remove any grass. The LVVWD $2 supplement attaches to the same approved project.

Get your measured area and approval
Wait for written approval and a measured square footage. The combined rate is $7 per square foot on the first 10,000 sq ft, then $4.50 per square foot beyond that.

Convert to desert landscaping
Remove the living grass and install desert landscaping with drip irrigation and living plant coverage. Keep before and after photos and your plant list.

Pass inspection and get paid
Pass the post-conversion inspection. The combined $7 per square foot includes the SNWA base of $5 and the LVVWD $2 supplement for LVVWD residential customers.
The application lives on the SNWA side, so reserve there before you touch the grass. The LVVWD supplement is automatic once your project is approved.
