How to Apply for Peoria, Arizona Water Rebates
Schedule a pre-consultation before you remove grass. Up to $3,000, minimum 500 sq ft, plants from the AMWUA or ADWR Phoenix AMA list. Artificial turf is not eligible.

Schedule the pre-consultation
Contact Peoria Water Conservation and schedule a pre-consultation before you remove any grass. The original grass must have been irrigated and manicured at 50% average coverage.

Plan to the plant list
Choose plants from the AMWUA Plant List or the most recent ADWR Phoenix AMA Low Water Use Plant List. At least 50% of the total landscaping (front and back) must be xeriscape, and 50% canopy coverage at maturity earns the full rebate.

Convert and document
Remove at least 500 square feet of grass, install the desert plants, take after photos, and keep itemized receipts.

Submit and get paid
Send your after photos showing canopy coverage at maturity to receive up to $3,000 (a lesser amount applies for 25% canopy).
Peoria wants a pre-consultation before you start, so schedule it first. The canopy-coverage photos at maturity are what set your final rebate amount.
