Georgetown water customers can combine rebates up to $5,000 total per fiscal year (Oct 1–Sep 30). Rebates are first-come, first-served.
Georgetown Love Your Local Lawn Rebate: Up to $5,000
Love Your Local Lawn covers turf-to-native conversion, irrigation upgrades, compost, mulch, aeration, and soil testing. Minimum 200 sq ft conversion required. Planting window runs September 1 through May 31. You need pre-approval and a post inspection. Four inches of mulch are required in bare areas. DIYers qualify with receipts.

Georgetown Smart Irrigation Controller Rebate: Up to $150
Georgetown pays $150 for a weather-based smart controller purchase. You can also get $75 for having your existing system inspected by a licensed irrigator. The city runs a free Irrigation Controller Assistance program where a specialist comes to your home. You must be a Georgetown Water customer. Irrigators must be TCEQ-licensed. HOAs cannot prohibit water-efficient irrigation upgrades under Texas law.

Georgetown Rain Barrel & Rainwater Harvesting Rebate: Up to $600/year
Georgetown offers $0.50 per gallon rebate on rainwater harvesting system materials. That covers gutters, pump, elevation stand, and related components. Up to $600 annually. The city also runs discounted rain barrel sales periodically. Texas Property Code §202.007 protects your right to install a rainwater harvesting system. Your HOA cannot ban it.

Georgetown Native Tree Rebate: Up to $500
Georgetown rebates up to 5 trees (5- or 15-gallon) or 2 trees (30-gallon). Trees must be native or adaptive species. Pre-approval is required via conservationservices@georgetowntexas.gov. Qualifying species include live oak, cedar elm, and other Central Texas natives.
