Argentine fleabane is a small annual wildflower that produces clusters of tiny white or pale pink daisy-like blooms from late spring through fall. This adaptable plant thrives in partial shade with minimal water needs and provides nearly six months of continuous flowering.

In an HOA neighborhood

Argentine Fleabane takes more care to keep looking intentional in a front yard. Maintenance level: low. Consider it for backyard or mid-zone beds rather than the street edge.

Works well in: backyard only.

  • Often considered a weed due to aggressive self-seeding
  • Can appear scraggly and unkempt
  • May spread rapidly beyond intended areas

Wildlife value

The long blooming period attracts a diverse range of pollinators including native bees, butterflies, and beetles throughout most of the growing season.

Native range data from the USDA PLANTS Database and regional native plant society lists. Pollinator and host plant associations compiled from GBIF, iNaturalist, and published ecological literature.
