Oneflower fleabane is a compact alpine perennial that forms low mats of small daisy-like flowers. This diminutive wildflower blooms in summer with white to pale pink petals surrounding yellow centers, creating a delicate carpet effect in sunny locations.

In an HOA neighborhood

Oneflower Fleabane takes more care to keep looking intentional in a front yard. Maintenance level: low. Consider it for backyard or mid-zone beds rather than the street edge.

Works well in: backyard only.

  • Very small size may appear sparse or weedy in formal settings
  • Natural wild appearance doesn't match typical landscaping expectations
  • May be difficult to distinguish from common weeds

Wildlife value

The small daisy flowers attract native bees and butterflies during the summer blooming period. Its compact size makes it valuable for smaller pollinators that prefer low-growing nectar sources.

Native range data from the USDA PLANTS Database and regional native plant society lists. Pollinator and host plant associations compiled from GBIF, iNaturalist, and published ecological literature.
