Basin sagebrush is a cornerstone of the high desert ecosystem. This aromatic, silver-gray shrub develops a naturally rounded form and can range from compact to quite large depending on growing conditions. Its fine-textured foliage provides year-round structure and releases a distinctive sage scent when brushed.
