Glyceria melicaria is a native perennial grass that forms clumps 1-3 feet tall with a moderate spread. It produces delicate flower heads during summer months and thrives in partial sun with average moisture. This cool-season grass provides a naturalistic texture to garden beds.

Long Mannagrass takes more care to keep looking intentional in a front yard. Maintenance level: low. Consider it for backyard or mid-zone beds rather than the street edge.
