Red juniper is a native evergreen tree that grows 40-70 feet tall with a pyramidal to oval crown. This drought-tolerant species thrives in full sun and poor soils, making it an excellent choice for low-maintenance landscapes. The dense, dark green foliage provides year-round structure and winter interest.

In an HOA neighborhood

Red Juniper is an HOA-friendly choice. Maintenance level: low. Tidiness: 4 out of 5.

Works well in: front yard, street edge, mid zone.

  • Large mature size may conflict with utility lines
